Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill intends to give the raft of youngsters pushing through a chance next season.

The likes of youngsters Nathan Delfouneso, Barry Bannan and Ciaran Clark could all find themselves promoted to the senior ranks.

O'Neill said: "Everyone will be given an opportunity to impress. Obviously some players have a head start - the ones who were really brilliant for us last season - and I want them to be fresh.

"But I'm looking for everyone to come in with renewed enthusiasm and it will then be an ideal opportunity to impress."
