Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill says Danny Graham was lifted by the reception he received on home debut in defeat to Arsenal.

Graham came off the bench in the second half and the Sunderland boss says the frontman is champing at the bit to get going.

"I think he'll be fine," he explained to safc.com. "He's desperate to do well and performed very well considering the length of time he was on the pitch."
