Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill has warned they're not safe from the drop.

Victory over West Ham United sees Sunderland now 14th in the table.

O'Neill cautioned: "There's always pressure. The win was important for us - and it was our fourth in seven Premier League games - but I think anybody in the bottom half of the table still has to look anxiously over their shoulder.

"That said, this was a good win for us.

"We played well for long periods, although from my angle I never thought that West Ham were out of the game until we got the third goal.

"But we played very well."
