Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is planning changes in January.

The Mirror says O'Neill has warned he is ready to shake up Sunderland and put his squad on trial as he searches for a winning formula.

The new Sunderland boss ha promised his entire first team squad will be given a chance to impress over the next four games and stake their claim to be in his first choice XI - including struggling on-loan Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner and controversial defender Titus Bramble.
