Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill is being linked with Nigel Pearson's job at Leicester City.
O'Neill is the bookies' favourite for the Foxes post with Pearson battling to keep hold of his job.
It's been reported Leicester sacked Pearson, then reinstated him, after defeat to Crystal Palace.
The Sunday World says the idea that O'Neill will be offered a chance to return to a former club and an opportunity in the Premier League will concern Football Association of Ireland chiefs, who will hope their head coach will stay loyal to the cause mid-way through the Euro 2016 qualifiers.
