Martin O'Neill is delighted Aston Villa winger Ashley Young has won the PFA's Young Player of the Year.
The Villa boss told AVTV: "I am absolutely delighted for Ashley.
"He has had a magnificent season and has come on leaps and bounds.
"His confidence is sky-high - and that is so important for a player. It's a brilliant mix to have a talented player with bags of confidence. I am so pleased for him and he is very deserving of the award.
"His fellow professionals have made a statement - and that speaks volumes. I am sure he will get even greater rewards in the future if he continues to work at his game.
"Gabby (Agbonlahor) deserves mention too. I was delighted he was in the reckoning for the trophy. Much attention is on Ashley - and rightly so - but we must not forget that Gabby really kept us going by playing up front on his own for about three months.
"The two lads have done fantastically well and they must now keep it going. It is not a word of warning - just avuncular advice."
