Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill says his team will benefit from the experience of new signing Emile Heskey.
He said: "We are in a decent position. We need to keep the momentum going. We have been without John Carew now for over two months and Ashley Young is still suspended.
"We have young players like Nathan Delfouneso who will be an exceptionally good player if everything works out and Gabby (Agbonlahor) has done fantastic up front on his own.
"But Emile will give us another option. He can play with Gabby and John when he is back fit. He will be excellent for us.
"Obviously I know him from my Leicester days when he was fantastic as a young kid. He went on to Liverpool and has done very well indeed during his career.
"At the moment he is at least vying to be the number one England centre-forward so in terms of value, he is great value for us."
