Chelsea centre-back Kenneth Omeruo has revealed that he turned down offers to join Turkish clubs in order to stay in Premier League.

The 23-year-old has been with the Blues since 2012, but he is yet to make a senior appearance.

He has been on various loan spells for most of the time, and he has spent his last two seasons playing in Turkey.

"Yes, I do have offers for Turkey but I am focused at staying in England should the right opportunity present itself," Omeruo told allnigeriasoccer.

"If not, I will consider alternative options.

"The EPL is a great league. Very challenging and one that I know I can handle when given the chance."
