Olympiacos go for Man City defender Boyata

Olympiacos are moving for Manchester City defender Dedryck Boyata.

The Daily Mail says the Belgian is a free agent this summer and the Greek club, who pushed Manchester United all the way in the Champions League this season, have registered their interest in the defender.

Boyata is set to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer following a season spent on the sidelines, making just one Barclays Premier League appearance all season.

Ex-Manchester City youngster Abdi Ibrahim joined Olympiacos in January.
