Olympiacos fullback Vasilis Torosidis has welcomed interest from Blackburn Rovers.

"Nobody has contacted me and no document has arrived from Blackburn," Torosidis told the Greek media. "It is only rumours and it is not up to me to go somewhere. I have a contract with Olympiacos.

"If Blackburn or another club has an agreement with Olympiacos then I will speak with them.

"Blackburn is an interesting club. They finished seventh last season but the important thing is they play in the Premier League and I like English football.

"The top players of Europe and the world play there, but as I said, there is no offer from England or any country.

"If something arrives I will think about it, but right now I am focused on Olympiacos."
