Tenerife have shown the door to coach Jose Luis Oltra.

Failure to keep Tenerife up was enough for the board to sack Oltra as they prepare for life in the Segunda Liga.

"I want to thank the club and the fans," said Oltra. "I have not reached the objective set, but I learned a lot this season. I hope to see Tenerife return to the La Liga, where they deserve to stay."
