Olsson turned down other clubs to join Norwich

Martin Olsson was the subject of plenty of interest before he signed for Norwich City.

The Swedish left-back departed Blackburn Rovers to sign a four-year deal with the Canaries who he chose over a number of other attentive outfits according to his agent.

"It's a step in the right direction for Martin, both football-wise and financially. He joins a club which is investing and with a good atmosphere," Hasan Cetinkaya told Expressen.

"There was big interest, both in England and other leagues, but Blackburn didn't want to sell in the past."
