West Bromwich Albion defender Jonas Olsson feels the team can cope in the absence of the injured Zoltan Gera.
The Hungarian midfielder is sidelined for at least six months after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in the 3-1 defeat to Tottenham on the weekend but Swedish centre-half Olsson says other players will simply have to stand up to cover the loss.
"We've all got our fingers crossed for Zoltan and hope he will recover well," he told Express & Star.
"But it is going to mean an opportunity for another player and we are not short of options - the club is very strong in the area of offensive midfielders.
"It's an area of the pitch where we have a lot of talent like Simon Cox and Graham Dorrans for example. But we've also got Peter (Odemwingie) coming back now. It's a bad moment for Zoltan but that always means a good chance for someone else."
