West Bromwich Albion defender Jonas Olsson hopes to recruit new fans through his media work in Scandinavia.
The 30-year-old defender, who works as a pundit for Viasat Sport, is one of only two current Sweden internationals in the Barclays Premier League - alongside Sunderland's Sebastian Larsson.
And the former NEC Nijmegen player hopes his media duties will further promote the club in his homeland.
"I do a little bit of media work," said Olsson to the WBA website.
"I do something every week, although I haven't been in the TV studio for a while. Sometimes, I do telephone interviews or reporters come over here and do a piece about me or West Bromwich.
"It's something I enjoy doing. The journalists are good people and it's good to promote West Brom a little bit. The view in Sweden is that we play quite attractive football and we're a team that is just below the top six or seven.
"The focus is on West Brom a little bit more in Sweden because there are not a lot of Swedish players in the league other than me and Seb."
