West Bromwich Albion defender Jonas Olsson is delighted with his new deal.

He only signed his new contract 20 HOURS before kick-off.

West Brom skipper Olsson, 29, agreed a new four-year deal. He said: "We got the deal done on Friday night around 7pm but I managed to still focus on the game.

"The negotiations have been dragged out but I felt the club has made an effort to keep me here.

"I feel more at peace now. It's a big commitment in your football career and your life."
