Martin Olsson is confident Steve Kean will emerge from Sam Allardyce's shadow at Blackburn Rovers.
Kean's promotion from first-team coach has been blighted by the reaction to Allardyce's sacking after a defeat to Bolton in December, having taken seven fewer points from his 17 games in charge before Saturday than his predecessor over the same period.
Olsson said: '"am did a good job but I think Steve Kean can do better or the same. He's a good manager, he just needs time.
"You have to move on. That's football and you can't think about the past.
"I've got nothing bad to say about Sam Allardyce. He's a good manager as well and he gave us points, but Steve Kean has given us young ones at least the chance to express ourselves even more. He's given us that positivity."
