Seyi Olofinjana admits Hull City's form this season hasn't been good enough.

Olofinjana, a £3million summer buy from Stoke, said: "We have not met the standards we envisaged, but that is football for you.

"There are a few performances where we know we could have done better, but we need to scrap out results here and there.

"The manager has got his own faults and he's got his own improvements to make. But the same goes for the players.

"We're paid heavily and, when we don't get results, it is not always down to the manager."
