Olivier Giroud has decided to quit Arsenal this summer.

The Sunday Express says Giroud is set to demand a transfer from Emirates Stadium as soon as his fellow French international Alexandre Lacazette puts pen to paper to join the club from Lyon.

Arsene Wenger has been locked in talks this weekend with the Lyon star who scored 28 goals in 30 Ligue 1 appearances last season and is confident of doing a deal.

Giroud will be pushed further down the pecking order by the arrival of Lacazette and will look for more regular time on the pitch elsewhere.

West Ham United who are looking to strengthen their striking options when the transfer window opens have been chasing Giroud all summer.
