Ivica Olic hit a hat-trick on Tuesday night to send Bayern Munich through to the Champions League final.
The Germans took a 1-0 lead over France's Lyon into the return leg at Stade de Gerland and after 26 minutes that became 2-0 overall when Olic was played a lovely ball by Thomas Muller before spinning and finishing neatly.
Lyon's mountain became more of a Swiss alp when captain Cris was harshly sent off just prior to the hour-mark, reducing Les Gones to ten men and making their task ever so harder.
The lead on the night was doubled and the aggregate taken to 3-0 seven minutes after Cris' dismissal when Olic beat an offside trap, ran onto a Hamit Altintop pass and finished into the bottom right corner past Hugo Lloris.
In the 77th minute, the win was rounded out and Olic's hat-trick complete when the Croatian headed home a Philipp Lahm cross to send the Germans into the final for the first time since 2001.
