Swedish goalkeeper Ole Soderberg is excited to be involved in Newcastle United's first team squad for their Carling Cup tie at Chelsea.
Soderberg knows that he is only a heartbeat away from the action against the reigning Premier League champions, and is excited by the prospect.
He told the Evening Chronicle: "It's something I'm looking forward to, it will be great for me and, if anything, it's an honour even to be on the bench for Newcastle United.
"To get to be a substitute in the Carling Cup or the Premier League is a great achievement for a young keeper.
"I'm not too daunted because I've been on the bench before in Carling Cup ties so it's not a big problem for me. I'm hoping for the best in the next few weeks."
