Oldham in Norwich talks for McDonald

Norwich City striker Cody McDonald is in talks with Oldham Athletic.

Latics boss Paul Dickov confirmed he had spoken to two prolific goalscorers - McDonald and Clayton Donaldson, who is out of contract at Crewe.

Dickov believes it would a great coup if he were to land one or both players.

He said: "I am not stupid and realise that goalscorers of their calibre are going to attract a lot of interest.

"I have spoken to both, but there are a lot of clubs in for them. If it is purely down to money, then they are not my type of player. I want footballers who will buy into what we are trying to achieve here."
