Oldham Athletic have decided against a move for Manchester United defender Tom Thorpe.
Oldham will not be signing Thorpe on loan, according to manager Lee Johnson.
The Oldham Chronicle reports that the Latics boss "scotched talk" of the defender joining "with the feeling that the Old Trafford club don't want to lose defenders at the moment."
