Jores Okore is happy with the stiff competition for places at Aston Villa.
The Denmark defender has impressed against Chelsea and Liverpool in the past week.
He told Villa's website: "The competition is going to be tough for all of us.
"All these guys are really good defenders and great players. It will bring our level up and our focus too. It will make us sharper, no doubt.
"We will need to be on our A game to have a chance to be in the starting XI.
"It will make us better as a good defensive unit."
