Australian football greats Paul Okon and Ange Postecoglou have both been linked with the Brisbane Roar coaching job. Following the indefinite suspension of Frank Farina for drink-driving, the Roar could be looking for a new coach if the board decides to sack the former Socceroos boss.
Current Gold Coast United assistant Okon has been closely linked with the job if there happens to be a vacancy at Suncorp Stadium but will reportedly have competition from South Melbourne legend Postecoglou.
Okon and Postecoglou are both former Australian national team representatives, Okon as a midfielder with close the 30 caps and Postecoglou as a defender with a handful of caps.
At present, Rado Vidosic is the interim coach at Brisbane but a replacement is on the cards if the board see fit to terminate Farina's contract.
Current skipper Craig Moore has been linked with a playing-coach role whilst former Roar player Stu McLaren's name has also been mentioned.
