O'Hara credits Cup performance to his passion for Spurs

Jamie O'Hara credited his outstanding performance in their Carling Cup victory over Burnley to his passion for Tottenham.

"The gaffer wasn't happy at half-time because it was a disappointing way in which to start the game and the whole first half was pretty poor," he told the Spurs website.

"But Harry (Redknapp) said that all the fans want to see is a bit of passion, so he told us to go out and show that we're the better side and play with a bit of pride, and that's what we did.

"I love the Club and this is a massive opportunity for everyone at Spurs to be at Wembley. I don't know if there were nerves to start with, but all you've got to do is give 100 per cent.

"That's what the fans want to see and that's something I will always give for this Club because I'm passionate about it."
