Ognenovski urges Seongnam Ilhwa teammates to leave nothing on the pitch

Seongnam Ilhwa captain Sasa Ognenovski has urged his players to leave nothing on the pitch in Saturday's Asian Champions League final.

The K-League club meet Iranian outfit Zob Ahan in Asia's premier club competition decider in Tokyo this weekend and the former Adelaide United defender wants a full-blooded performance from his teammates.

"I am going to tell my men to enjoy the game. When you give everything you have then you can leave the field assured that you have given 100 per cent," said Ognenovski.

"But when you don't give it everything you have, you start asking yourself questions.

"I think the whole team is important. If one player plays the game of his life and the rest don't perform then it doesn't matter. The whole team has to perform."

And Ognenovski was well aware his side was coming up against a Zob Ahan outfit who are capable of anything.

"They are a very strong team and only good teams reach the final," he added. "They played against Saudi team (Al Hilal) and were tactically very good. The other team was favourites to go through. They will be playing their best."
