Roy Carroll has no regrets leaving Manchester United.
The Northern Ireland goalkeeper is now playing in Denmark with Odense after difficult spells at West Ham United and Derby County.
Carroll has no regrets about turning down a new four-year contract at United and joining West Ham in the summer of 2005 after Sir Alex Ferguson indicated his intention to buy a new goalkeeper.
"It was an easy decision for me. Some people might think I should have stayed because it was Manchester United and all that, but I'm not the kind of person who wants to look back and say I've only played 50 Premier League games in my life," he told the Daily Mail.
"I wanted to play more games and I've done that."
