West Bromwich Albion insist they won't consider selling contract rebel Peter Odemwingie.
The Sun says Odemwingie has been told: We will hold you to your deal.
The striker, 30, wants a wage hike to £55,000 a week for the remaining two years of his contract.
Albion have made him an offer but will not pay over £50,000.
Boss Roy Hodgson said: "Peter's been made an extremely good offer. I'm optimistic he'll sign.
"We owe him a debt but he owes us too as we were the club that gave him his chance."
