West Bromwich Albion goal hero Peter Odemwingie says that he is open to staying at the club if they want to retain him next season.
The 14-goal Nigerian has another season left on his Baggies contract and admits he would love to stay at The Hawthorns after the West Midlands almost certainly secured survival with a come-from-behind win over derby rivals Aston Villa on Saturday.
"I still have a contract but maybe after this season we can have a talk," said the 29-year old. "I have one year left plus one-year's option.
"I am performing well and maybe drawing attention to myself. But we are staying up and I am happy. If I am in the plans for next year I will embrace it and keep playing."
