Peter Odemwingie feels he is a major part of the Stoke City setup.
The Nigerian striker joined the Potters from Cardiff City in January and has emerged as a key contributor in their recent run of good form which has seen them win three of their past four fixtures.
The former West Bromwich Albion ace scored in the Potters' 4-1 come-from-behind victory over Aston Villa on Sunday, along with striker partner Peter Crouch, and was absolutely delighted with how things had turned out since he arrived at the Britannia Stadium.
"I'm really enjoying it," he told Sky Sports. "It's a great group, I'm really happy off the pitch as well and they have received me very nicely.
"I was really happy playing in the same team as Peter, I knew I would get balls off him and the quality he possesses and it makes things easier for us around him.
"I knew he was going to win the ball in the air so I lifted it a bit - believing he was going to win it - and he did and I kicked the ball and scored.
"That's what I was planning before coming to Stoke."
