Peter Odemwingie has been handed a new one-year contract by Stoke City.
The Nigerian striker has put pen to a 12-month deal with the Potters, keeping him at the Britannia Stadium until next summer, with the option of a further season.
Odemwingie, 33, joined Stoke from Cardiff City in January 2014 and only returned to action from a serious knee injury late last season.
Of the deal, Stoke chief executive Tony Scholes said: "We're delighted that Peter has extended his stay with us at the club until the summer of 2016.
"He suffered an unfortunate injury last season after making a big impression immediately after joining the club. Peter has worked incredibly hard to battle back from this to regain full fitness.
"He's a popular figure not just in the dressing room but with club staff and supporters so we are thrilled to keep him on board this season."
