West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie is convinced of great things this season.
Odemwingie revealed that head coach Steve Clarke was unhappy with some of what he saw during Saturday's 2-1 victory over Norwich. But, ahead of a trip to QPR, he says the Black Country club could be on the cusp of an historic campaign.
"West Brom are on a mission," Odemwingie said. "We have started so well and maybe this could turn out to be a very great season.
"I'm in good form and if I score goals and bring points, then I'll be very happy at the end of the season. It's also a plus that I can continue to be here.
"It was a difficult one for me, had I been called into the camp. My son is due to be born on January 11. I would have had to go, come back and then go again."
