Bookmakers William Hill have slashed the odds on John Terry joining Arsenal.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the betting agency has shortened the odds on the departing Chelsea captain making his way across London from 33-1 to 5-1.
It is understood that some decent money has been wagered on that prospect, with most of the intel coming from the Reading area.
William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly said: "The figures would not have been massive but they were massive for a novelty market."
Terry has decided to end his 22-year stay at Chelsea and will be exiting Stamford Bridge this summer.
He plans to play on with speculation suggesting there are a number of Premier League clubs showing serious interest in the 36-year-old.
