Seattle Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid says new signing Sammy Ochoa is close to making his first appearance for the club.
The 25-year old was allocated to the Sounders when he returned to the USA following a five-year stint with Mexican club Estudiantes Tecos and Schmid says he could perhaps make his MLS bow in the next game or two.
"He's getting fitter and so forth," Schmid said.
"I think he's a little bit heavy-legged, as well, because when you've been off training for three to four months and you're about three weeks into it you don't get so much the real tiredness that you get when you're doing the hard fitness, but more just the general achiness and fatigue, and you have to build through that.
"I think he's close to where he could come off the bench and play 20-30 minutes."
