O'Brien won't quit Bolton

Bolton Wanderers defender Any O'Brien insists he's not about to quit the Reebok.

"It's frustrating not being in the team because you work all week hoping for a game, but you hope when you get your opportunity the team wins and it makes it difficult to be left out," he said.

"I think it is part and parcel of the game. The club wanted to improve and have competition for places and that's what clubs do.

"I'm not in control of who comes into the team or the club, all I can do is control myself.

"If I'm in the team I'll work hard to stay in it and if I'm not I'll work hard to get in it.

"If you get your opportunity in the first team you hope the team wins and then it picks itself.

"Hopefully I will get my opportunity soon."
