Victor Obinna admits he's delighted with his recent form at West Ham United.

Obinna's last two outings at the Boleyn Ground saw him score his first top-flight goal in a 3-1 win against Wigan Athletic and then follow that up with all four assists in the Carling Cup 4-0 triumph over Manchester United.

He told whufc.com: "I really enjoyed those two matches. In every game, I have played I have tried to do my best to make sure the team wins and gets the points but these were great matches for me. Scoring my first Premier League goal was fantastic but it was more important to get the win in such a big game.

"No one expected us to do what we did against Manchester United, it was a shock. The noise was unbelievable. They are the best team at the moment in England. It was a massive win for us. I did pretty well with the assists it was nice to get such a reward after we all put so much into the game."
