The agent of Pedro Obiang says talks over his Sampdoria future are scheduled for next month.

The midfielder has been linked with Manchester City and Barcelona.

"I'll be in Italy on March 3 to see Sampdoria play Parma," Josè Miguel Gonzalez told TMW. "Around that time I'll meet with the Samp directors.

"A renewal? That is a possibility. His contract currently expires in 2016 and there is no reason why we should be thinking of a transfer at this stage of the campaign."
