Late season talk of Martin O'Neill leaving his post as Aston Villa manager is likely to be rubbished when he meets with club owner Randy Lerner.
Discussions are expected to favour O'Neill who was critical of having shackles placed on him in regards to transfer dealings but it seems as though things will be sorted out.
O'Neill said he would review his own position at season's end as he wants more control over transfers and is keen to hold onto key players such as James Milner and Ashley Young who were previously linked with departures from Villa Park.
