Former Leeds United and Aston Villa manager David O'Leary has agreed to take over as coach of United Arab Emirates club Al Ahli, reports BBC Sport. The former Arsenal and Republic of Ireland defender has been out of management since leaving Villa almost exactly four years ago.

He was in charge at Leeds for five years before being sacked in 2002.

Al Ahli recently signed Italian star Fabio Cannavaro, who has been installed as the Dubai side's captain.
