Jamie O'Hara was unhappy with Wolves supporters after they cheered Karl Henry's substitution on the weekend.
The former club captain came off for Adlene Guedioura just before the hour-mark of the club's 2-1 loss to Newcastle United much to the delight of the Molineux faithful.
But the behavior of the supporters was not welcomed by O'Hara who says there should be more respect for a player like Henry.
"Thought it was shocking that the fans cheered Karl off, a player that gives everything to the club deserves better from our fans," he posted on Twitter.
"It's a long season and the fans should get behind the team. Come on Wolves fans we need your support every game - it doesn't do anyone any good booing us."
