James O'Connor has signed with USL Pro Division club Orlando City.
The 32-year old has departed English League One outfit Sheffield Wednesday to link up with former Stoke City, Everton and Manchester City midfielder Adrian Heath who coaches the Lions.
"This is a club that's going places and is something I definitely want to be a part of.""There's huge potential here," O'Connor said in a release. "The opportunity to work with Adrian [Heath] and Ian [Fuller] and everyone else is great.
O'Connor began his career with Stoke in 1996 before moving to West Bromwich Albion in 2003 and then onto Burnley following a loan at Turf Moor. He landed at Wednesday in 2008 and appeared in over 150 matches for the Owls.
