N'Zonzi: Stoke better than results suggest

Steven N'Zonzi insists Stoke City have performed well this season.

Tony Pulis' side have recorded five draws from their opening seven Premier League games, and whilst N'Zonzi acknowledges that he would have liked to have seen one or two of those turned into wins, he says the players should be happy with their efforts thus far.

He told Stoke's website: "It's been a tough start for us in terms of the teams we have played so far, so when people look at the results and only see one win, I don't think it really tells the full story.

"Of those five draws, three have been against teams who will be right up there come the end of the season, so they are good points for us to have up on the board.

"Obviously, we want to get more wins, that is what football is all about, but they will come. The performances have been good and we can take a lot of positives from the start we have made."
