Charles N'Zogbia left Newcastle United teammates stunned on Saturday after refusing to roll out of bed!

The Sun says the French midfielder, 22, said he was too tired to get up for the 11am stroll ahead of Saturday's 0-0 draw at Chelsea.

But N'Zogbia later claimed he had a leg strain and was left on the bench for 76 minutes at the Bridge.

He wants to join Paris St Germain and a Toon insider said: "Charles is a strange one.

"No one could believe it when he said he was too tired.

"He was the only player who didn't turn up."
