MLS club New York Red Bulls and English Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in talks regarding a summer friendly.
The two clubs are hoping to arrange a July 31 meeting at Red Bull Arena during Spurs' off-season which comes about halfway through the MLS domestic campaign.
The match is likely to be played just a few days after the Red Bulls' home venue hosts the French Super Cup between the winners of Ligue 1 and the French Cup.
If the match goes ahead, it will pit former Arsenal star Thierry Henry against the Gunners' North London derby rivals.
