Juan Agudelo admits it is a huge thrill to be a massive part of US soccer’s push into the global market.
The 19-year old New York Red Bulls attacker is the face of soccer for the Team Kellogg’s campaign for the upcoming London Olympic Games and he is overjoyed to be in such a privileged position.
“It’s crazy for me to have seen other people in Kellogg’s commercials when I was young – that I’m now one of them. It really is an honor,” he told the Jersey Journal.
And Agudelo said it was important for the US Olympic team to first qualify for the tournament before performing well in England this summer to continue putting his country on the worldwide soccer map.
“Every single time the World Cup is on we get more viewers. I feel like this (a good showing at the Games) will only help out,” he added.
