Tim Cahill has been passed fit to play for Australia this week.
The Socceroos take on Japan in Osaka on Tuesday and will have New York Red Bulls star Cahill in the team after he came under some doubt late last week.
Cahill, Australia's highest scorer, sustained a hip injury during training on Friday which kept him out of the past two sessions but it is believed that he will be available for the Yanmar Stadium fixture with the Blue Samurai.
After the friendly in the far East, Cahill will return to New York to prepare for the Red Bulls' home leg of the Eastern Conference final against New England Revolution at Red Bull Arena on November 23.
