Tim Cahill took to Twitter to let the world know his appreciation for departing Australia manager Holger Osieck.
Football Federation Australia terminated the contract of the German tactician on Saturday morning following the Socceroos' 6-0 friendly loss to France which left Cahill to ponder a three-year spell with the boss.

Osieck took the Socceroos reins from Pim Verbeek in August 2010 and managed to guide the team into the 2014 World Cup finals.
