New York Red Bull head coach Mike Petke has revealed that the club is on the verge of signing Rafhael Domingues from Brazilian club Toledo.
The 21-year old former Austrian U18 international midfielder, more commonly known as Rafinha, is currently in Spain sorting out the appropriate paperwork before he officially becomes a Red Bulls player.
"He wasn't here today," Petke said after training on Wednesday. "He went over to Spain [to complete paperwork].
"I don't know exactly where they are with the contract but he's a young kid who has a lot of potential. The price is absolutely right, so there's no reason why we wouldn't bring him on."
