New York Red Bulls defender Tim Ream has revealed he would love to one day make the move to the English Premier League.
The 24-year old has spent time training with top flight clubs West Bromwich Albion and Bolton Wanderers and although a 2012 move is unlikely, he says he is interested in a future shift to the UK.
"I felt more and more comfortable with each session," Ream added. "Going to England is something I would like to do.""I really enjoyed both clubs and I was treated very well," he told MLSsoccer.com. "It was certainly good to get a feel for the environment in England and the day-to-day routine there. The level of play is very high and each day was a challenge.
Ream's agent, Patrick McCabe, admits there is heavy interest in either the Baggies or Trotters bringing him in on loan but was remaining wary of that type of agreement.
"Red Bull is also opposed to a loan and we cannot necessarily disagree with their position. I think it will be difficult to find an agreement for all sides.
"Loan deals are low-risk ventures and very easy to walk away from and we need to look at the best long term position for Tim. Under the right conditions, Tim would be very interested in playing in England in the near future.""The feedback was very positive and Tim was well received at Bolton and West Brom," McCabe said. "There has been interest in a loan deal for Tim, but at this point, we would be reluctant with a short-term arrangement like that.
