Rafael Marquez is excited about upcoming fixtures for Mexico ahead of future 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
El Tri beat Walesa 2-0 on Sunday and will next take on Bosnia-Herzegovina and Brazil before meeting Guyana and El Salvador in June qualifiers and New York Red Bull defender Marquez is looking forward to the tests.
"They are all good teams and those are games that will help us prepare as quick as possible for the qualifiers," Marquez said.
And Marquez also admitted that he would love to represent Mexico at this summer's Olympic Games as one of three overage players.
"But I know the competition is tough. There are only three spots so it will be difficult. I still I would love to (play in it).""It's a competition that I haven't played, and that I'd like to play," he added.
